The Kia Seltos is one of the bestselling Kia cars in the country. It is also Kia India’s first product in the Indian market. And since its debut, it has been selling like hotcakes. It has received several updates in the past few years, and now there is a buzz going on for the Kia Seltos facelift, which will launch this year. Kia Seltos: Powertrain 

The Kia Seltos specifications include two fuel-type options: a petrol unit and a diesel unit. The petrol version has two engine options available. The 1.5-litre, naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 112bhp at 6,300rpm and 144Nm of torque at 4,500rpm. While, the 1.4-litre turbo-petrol produces 136bhp at 6,000rpm and 242Nm of torque at 1,500rpm.

Apart from that, as for the transmissions, the Seltos is available with a six-speed manual/iMT gearbox, IVT, 7-DCT, and an automatic torque converter gearbox.

Besides that, there are also multiple drive modes and traction modes on all automatic variants, along with its AWD configuration. Moreover, the Kia Seltos received a retuned suspension for improved ride quality and comfort.

As for fuel economy, the Kia Seltos’s mileage ranges between 16.1 and 21 kmpl, depending upon the engine and transmission.

The compact SUV has a long list of fancy offers. The Kia Seltos features auto headlights, auto HVAC, a 360-degree camera, an anti-glare IRVM, cruise control, and front ventilated seats, to name a few. The Kia Seltos variants include eight trims – HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX+, GTX(O), GTX+, and X Line. And it has nineteen variants.

The Kia Seltos on-road Delhi price starts at Rs 12.04 lakh for the base model, the HTE 1.5, and goes up to Rs 22.46 lakh for the top model, the X Line 1.5 Diesel AT (automatic).
